InDesign Exercise 2

In this second exercise, we’re going to learn how to use InDesign to professionally prepare a document for print publication. We will learn how to use features such as Parent Pages, activating Adobe Cloud fonts, and preparing our final document in order to create an error-free publication package.

Expand the compressed file. The folder contains text, photos and an Illustrator document. You should save your work in this folder.

The videos below will demonstrate step by step how to complete the exercise.

Total time for the videos is about 60 minutes, so you should give yourself at least two hours and probably three to complete this exercise.

Name the publication package folder that you generated with your last name first: 'Yourname.id-ex2', zip compress it and drop it into the D2L dropbox.
