About this project
This website is a project of the MTSU School of Journalism, intended as both a learning experience for the School’s students and as a public service. Outside of news coverage by Tennessee’s news organizations, we have not found a site that focuses exclusively on Tennessee politics.
The School of Journalism is part of the College of Mass Communication at Middle Tennessee State University, the largest undergraduate four-year school in the state. The School of Journalism is accredited by ACEJMC. Its courses are taught by academically distinguished and professionally experienced faculty that includes 20 full-time tenured and tenure-track professors.
This is just a start. We hope to expand this site in the future to cover the Statehouse, senate and governor races and items of interest in the Legislature.
